Hello Family in Oregon,

I did get your package and I am swimming in goldfish. I got a big container of goldfish from Sydney a week ago and I'm slowly making my way through it. Love you guys so much for everything that you do for me even when I'm on the other side of the country. It's scary to think that we are all grown up. Soon Emma will be leaving the nest. I just read an email from Hope saying she was going to go to the temple. I'm very excited for her and the commitments she will be making with our Heavenly Father. I think that she should go through the temple prep class though, its something that the church has come out with that will give her a slight glimpse it what she is going to be doing. By the way who is President Bradley?

So this week has been really good. We had two zone meetings were the mission president came and taught us about how to improve our contacting and finding new investigators and referrals. It was really good and we have seen some improvement in how we talk to people and how we now have tons of referrals. Its been really cold so we have been doing contacting in stores like Burlington coat factory and at the Kmart. That has been fun. It was funny we were trying to find people to talk to and the only people who were near us were in the men's underwear section of the store. Elder Simkins said I needed to talk to someone. So I said what am I suppose to say to those guys that wont be weird. I guess I can ask, what do you prefer boxers of briefs? We had a good laugh at that. Anyway finding has been going good.

We actually found this guy called Ken. We have taught him three times, once we brought a priest age member with us. He is very interested and has accepted a goal to be baptized on the 21 of March. He is a nice retired fellow. He also came to church and stayed the full three ours and had a great time. We also taught a investigator who's name is Gregory. He also has accepted the goal of baptism on the 21 of March. Elder Simkins taught him when I was on exchanges one time. We tried to teach him again but he was on vacation down town (jail). But we had a good second lesson with him and he is interested in reading the Book of Mormon.

So this week has been full of really good turn of events and I can't wait to continue working with Ken and Gregory. It has been a little cold here it was 9 degrees yesterday. But I am keeping warmish in this weather. I love you guys and I happy to hear you guys are doing good.

P.s If the mission asks you to send everything to the mission office then do that. I got your package really fast. Just make your you say Elder Tayler Young or they wont know which Elder Young to send it to because there are three of us.
